After being cancelled in 2020 because of the coronavirus pandemic, CrimeCon is back. It’s the largest annual gathering in the United States of true crime entertainment fans. The fourth annual edition of CrimeCon is set to take place at the Fairmont Hotel Austin in Austin, Texas, from June 4 to June 6, 2021.
The guest speakers include:
- Nancy Grace: Oxygen host; founder of Crime Online; former prosecutor; author; former HLN and Court TV host
- Dr. Phil McGraw: host of “Dr. Phil”
- Josh Mankiewicz: correspondent for “Dateline NBC”
- Chris Hansen: investigative journalist; former host of “Crime Watch Daily” and Investigation Discovery shows; former “Dateline NBC” correspondent
- Kim Goldman: sister of murder victim Ron Goldman
- Anne Bremner: attorney
- Evan Bariault: attorney
- Deanna Thompson (also known as Baudi Moovan): Internet sleuth and star of Netflix’s “Don’t F**k With Cats: Behind the Hunt for an Internet Killer”
- John Green: Internet sleuth and star of Netflix’s “Don’t F**k With Cats: Behind the Hunt for an Internet Killer”
- Gina DeJesus: survivor of serial kidnapper/rapist Ariel Castro; co-founder of the Cleveland Family Center for Missing Children and Adults
- Sylvia Colon: Gina DeJesus’ cousin and co-founder of the Cleveland Family Center for Missing Children and Adults
- Gil Carillo, former Los Angeles Police Department cop involved in the Night Stalker investigation.

Several of the guest speakers will be doing meet-and-greet sessions with CrimeCon attendees. Due to the pandemic, some of the guests will not appear in person but will appear remotely via videoconference. There will also be panels about famous crime cases.
