Hilton Munich Airport is now offering an additional 162 new deluxe rooms covering nearly 95,000 square feet. The expansion increases the hotel’s number of rooms by about  40 percent, bringing the total to 551 rooms. The hotel has also expanded the hotel’s meeting spaces at the palm atrium to a capacity of up to 500 people.

The east wing of the meeting center was also expanded and modernized. It has 17 renovated or newly built event rooms, which Hilton business customers can use for meetings and events. All feature high-level technical equipment. Customers can book private offices for two people by the hour or a large, daylit event space.

The Hilton Munich Airport’s location near the Alps was considered in its interior design, with an emphasis on local flair and well-being as well as on cutting-edge techniques. All rooms were styled by JOI Design in a natural style featuring authentic references to the region. The focus of the interior design is on concepts like “mountains” and “airport,” highlighting materials such as light oak wood, natural stone and felt.  Bathrooms also showcase the new design. Further reconstruction activities, such as a restaurant redesign, are also planned for 2017.
