Ben & Jerry’s launches third Phish flavor: It’s Ice…Cream

Whether you’re a true Phish fan or not, you’ve tried Ben & Jerry’s classic flavor, Phish Food. Ben & Jerry’s has partnered with Phish for a third flavor to celebrate the 21st anniversary of The WaterWheel Foundation! It’s Ice… Cream features a caramel malt ice cream with almond toffee pieces, fudge fish and a caramel swirl and was one of the original flavor concepts in the running, back in 1997, to become Phish Food. Luckily, Ben & Jerry’s Flavor Gurus never lose sight of a good flavor concept and have brought it to pints. A portion of all proceeds will benefit The WaterWheel Foundation.

Guests can pick-up Baskin-Robbins ice cream in-store to enjoy at home with these pairings as a cool way to kick off the summer season.

In collaboration with Rosenthal – The Malibu Estate Wines, members of the Baskin-Robbins Culinary Team created unique wine and ice cream pairings featuring popular types of wine with delicious Baskin-Robbins ice cream flavors, including seasonal favorites for summer. Each pairing denotes the distinct flavors of each wine and ice cream flavor to create a new way to experience Baskin-Robbins ice cream with friends and family. The Baskin-Robbins wine and ice cream pairings include:

  • Pinot Grigio or Grenache Blanc with Vanilla: A refreshingly indulgent combination, the buttery vanilla flavor of the ice cream brings out the crisp, green fruit notes in the wine.

Ben & Jerry’s launches Moo-phoria line of ice cream with less fat and calories

For ice cream lovers who only indulge on special occasions or limit themselves to a weekly treat, Ben & Jerry’s has created Moo-phoria™, a new line of light ice cream with satisfyingly euphoric flavors. Suddenly, Wednesday is the new weekend!

Moo-phoria pints are full of all the wonderful chunks and swirls that fans adore, along with rich and creamy vanilla, chocolate, caramel and peanut butter flavors. What’s missing? Sixty to seventy percent fat and at least 35% of the calories found in traditional ice cream. Each ½ cup serving of Moo-phoria has 140-160 calories. And like all Ben & Jerry’s flavors, Moo-phoria doesn’t have artificial sugar substitutes or sugar alcohols.

“Ben & Jerry’s tries to offer a little bit of something for everyone,” said Dena Wimette, Senior Innovation Manager. “We’re excited to have an incredible new option for our fans who say they can’t be trusted with a pint of Ben & Jerry’s in their freezers.”

Launching a new line of ice cream flavors in mid-January might seem counter-intuitive, but the Flavor Gurus at Ben & Jerry’s have always played by their own, creative rules. This year the ice cream company is dishing up an innovative line of truffle-inspired indulgence (one with a cold brew coffee base!), two more flavors of Non-Dairy deliciousness, and new takes on enjoying long-standing fan favorite flavors in Pint Slices.

The Truffle Pint lineup includes three decadent flavors with some of the biggest chunks you’ll find in a pint of Ben & Jerry’s. Spooning out the soft, sweet truffles inside these new flavors will make you a certified chunk spelunker.

In 2018, Ben & Jerry’s is scooping out more options to fans who appreciate “everything but the cow” with two new Non-Dairy, vegan certified flavors. What started as four almond milk-based frozen dessert flavors is now a line of NINE pints.

Peanut Butter Half Baked—Chocolate and peanut butter with fudge brownies and gobs of peanut butter cookie dough.

Cinnamon Buns—Cinnamon with cinnamon bun dough and a cinnamon streusel swirl.

The two brands, both known for their trendsetting and innovation, will come together to create a brand new ice cream flavor to celebrate the launch of the San Diego Comic-Con Exclusive Shoppie Doll, Bubble Gum Pop Bubbleisha.

The Bubble Gum Pop Bubbleisha doll is the follow-up to the 2016 San Diego Comic-Con debut sell out Golden Cupcake Jessicake doll.  Fan-favorite Bubbleisha is featured as the Queen of Karaoke, dressed in pink holographic with a collectible holographic boom box packaging.
