Marvel Studios’ Avengers: Endgame became Earth’s Mightiest Super Hero franchise this year, and soon fans of the Marvel Cinematic Universe will soon be able to own their own copy on Digital (July 30) and Blu-ray (August 13). But even though the curtains have closed on this phase of the MCU, the celebration is far from over. Directors Joe and Anthony Russo are hitting the road for the “We Love You 3000” Tour, a series of in-person events in nine cities throughout the United States where fans will get to express their love for the MCU while the storytellers themselves get to express their gratitude!
The “We Love You 3000” Tour will kick off July 20 at San Diego Comic-Con 2019 with the Russo brothers and some surprise guests from the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Fans will be treated to free Ben & Jerry’s ice cream (while supplies last) and fans who come in costume will get the chance to participate in a special Marvel Studios Cosplay photo with the Russos and their special guests!
From there, the tour will go to Seattle, San Francisco, Torrance, Chicago, Miami, Minneapolis, and Cleveland before wrapping up at the D23 Expo in Anaheim on August 25. Every event will be hosted by the Russos and other favorites from the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Each event will have something different to offer Marvel fans including photo ops, in-store events at Best Buy Stores, and giveaways of 3,000 MCU Funko Pop Vinyl Figures and the limited edition Avengers: Endgame SteelBook – all as a way for the Marvel Cinematic Universe to express their appreciation to Marvel fans.

Project: Aloft Star Tour To inspire emerging talent to enter this year’s competition, Aloft Hotels is taking some of UMG’s hottest breakthrough artists on the road, hitting some of the great music cities to host intimate music performances in the brand’s signature W XYZ® bars. The free performances will kick off with Years & Years in Philadelphia on June 23, and will continue in four other locations, including Tank & the Bangas in New Orleans on August 9 and BANNΞRS in Denver on October 17. At each tour stop, fans will be able to collect an exclusive custom memento poster featuring art created by New York designer and illustrator Sophia Chang. The final tour stop will be held in Austin on November 1where the Project: Aloft Star finalists will perform in front of a panel of industry judges that includes representatives from UMG and live music discovery platform Bandsintown, and a winner will be chosen.
Global Footprint As a truly global hotel brand, concurrent competitions are also running with Aloft Hotels and UMG in the Middle East & Africa and Asia Pacific to find the next big music stars in these regions. As in the Americas, winners in these regions will have the opportunity to record a single with UMG and gain access to mentoring opportunities with UMG representatives. Each region will have their own local celebrity UMG mentors, including names such as Salim Merchant in India and Rachel Liang in Greater China. Aloft Hotels in Europe will also be launching an initiative under the Project: Aloft Star banner to support emerging artists later this year.

The panel will select three finalists to progress to Phase II of the competition where the finalists will receive a mentoring session from X Ambassadors.
From September 17 through October 22, fans and music lovers are encouraged to vote for their favorite of the artists.
All three finalists will perform at the Project: Aloft Star finale at Aloft Austin Downtown on November 1. The winner will then be chosen from a combination of the public vote and the panel of judges’ scores.

The Rolling Stones have announced the Stones – No Filter stadium tour, which will go to several cities in Europe in September and October 2017. Concerts West is producing the tour, which is sponsored by Jeep. (See the tour dates at the end of this article.) Lead singer Mick Jagger, guitarist Keith Richards, drummer Charlie Watts and guitarist Ronnie Wood will once again head out on the road in what is expected to be one of the highest-grossing concert tours of the year. Ticket information for the tour is to be announced.
According to a Rolling Stones press release, the Stones’ set list for the No Filter tour will include classic hits such as “Gimme Shelter,” “Paint It Black,” Jumpin Jack Flash,” “Tumbling Dice” and “Brown Sugar,” but “they will also include a couple of unexpected tracks each night and randomly selected surprises from their formidable arsenal of songs. For all of the European ‘No Filter’ shows listed below the Stones will be unveiling a spectacular new production and state of the art stage design.”
The Paris shows on the tour will be the first two concerts at the brand-new U Arena.
In a statement, Jagger commented on the Stones – No Filter tour, “I’m so excited to be touring Europe this Autumn and returning to some familiar places and some we’ve never done before.”
Richards added, “Hey Guys, here we come. See you there!”
The year 2016 was a busy one for the Rolling Stones. They began the year by doing a tour of Latin America that culminated in March with a historical concert in Havana, Cuba. The tour is the subject of the 2016 documentary film “Olé Olé Olé!: A Trip across South America” (directed by Paul Dugdale), which had a limited release in cinemas and was televised in the U.S. on Starz. Eagle Rock Entertainment will release the movie on DVD/Blu-ray on May 26, 2017. The Havana concert was the subject of the documentary “Havana Moon” (also directed by Dugdale), which had a limited release in cinemas and became available on home video in 2016.
At the end of 2016, the Rolling Stones also released an album of blues cover songs called “Blue & Lonesome,” which was recorded in only three days. In addition, Wood and Jagger became fathers again: Wood and his wife, Sally, welcomed twin daughters Gracie and Alice on May 30, 2016. Jagger and his girlfriend Melanie Hamrick welcomed son Deveraux Octavian Basil on December 8, 2016.
The band also launched a traveling Rolling Stones museum called “Exhibitionism,” which was in London from April to September 2016 and then moved to New York from November 2016 to March 2017. “Exhibitionism” went to Chicago in April 2017 and is expected to go to Sydney sometime in 2018.
